 AVATAR is truly sensational and brilliant. they have the best visuals and i was amazed at how much creativity was put into it.pandora got me speechless with all the weird-looking creatures,neon plants and floating mountains.such a breath-taking sight.felt like i wanted to be part of pandora. dearest and me watched the 3D version.my first ever 3D movie and it was SUPER AWESOME!!well there isn't much pop-out effects but you wouldn't even be a wee bit disappointed. every single buck we paid for was worth it.and did you guys know that it took 15 years to make this movie? i was supposed to post this entry a few days back as a birthday dedication to sheena but due to work,i always sleep early these days.so here it goes,  happy 20th birthday,bestfriend.thank you for the 6 years of true friendship that we've had.thank you for having my back and being there for me.i never once doubted our friendship because you're such an awesome soul and i thank god that i've met you.i hope to see us live old together and remain as tight like we are now.all the best for your future endeavours!brought her and her parents to amirah's grill at arab street and thank god they loved it! on another note,it's coming to the end of 2009.sigh,time flies too fast.i'm glad at how 2009 turned out to be and i don't regret anything that has happened.hopefully 2010 will be better,i know it will because i'll be shifting to my permanent house.the most important thing is,i pray that obama keeps his promise.NO MORE WARS,PLEASE. i think i need to do something to my hair.sick and tired of it. pictures which i have promise to put up in the previous entry will be delayed until i can find my USB cable for my handphone. i won't be getting holiday tomorrow like the rest of you.whopeedoo.yes i have to work.apparently the new upgraded hawker centres will be operating their business starting from tomorrow onwards so i got to be there.will be at tiong bahru.it'll only take about half a day so i guess i'm alright with it. last but not least,here's wishing to all my friends and loved ones a happy 2010 (:

i'm seriously pancit like hell eversince i started this job.but like dearest said,i should suck it up.i'm only 20 and yet i'm already feeling so darn tired.what if i'm older? so anyways today was the most exhausting day amongst all so far.i went to 5 food centres.met sam at queensway mrt station.we walked to mei ling market and food centre (which is fucking far) to check whether the vendors did their spring cleaning.most of them were not there yet so he suggested to walk to another food centre instead of waiting and wasting time.so we walked all the way to commonwealth.had some discussion with the hawker representative and cleaner regarding the mosquito breeding.after which we headed back to mei ling food centre.when we were done,we took mrt to outram,and headed to smith street food centre to give out notices to quit to those vendors who did not pay up their rent.walked to maxwell food centre which is at chinatown to continue giving out the notices.took mrt back to newton.walked to newton food centre for the same reason and then finally,back at office. TIRING OR WHAT?? if you realised i used the word "walked" ALOT.yes that was how much i walked today while working.i think it's not necessary for me to exercise already haha. and i just sat and stared into thin air while i was in office because i was too exhausted. on saturday,i had to do enforcement at toa payoh with lin de.since i didn't have my authority card yet,i just gave written warnings for those stalls that had any irregularities.we went to the market and there was this nasty fishmonger who refused to listen to us and kept yakking in chinese that he wanted to complain to the MP.sigh.i was so afraid that he might come after us with the chopper.he was cutting this humoungous fish.well actually he was selling lots of really HUGE fish and extended his stall to almost half of the walkway,which is an obstruction to customers. i'm trying my best to get used to the job and be damn positive about it.i really hope i will pull through. can't wait for thursday because it's half day,and i can get 3 days of rest before the madness starts all over again. pictures will be uploaded when i have the time. goodnight. dearest got me my belated birthday present which is.... A BRAUN BUFFEL WALLET!!!!!! it's so sleek and gorgeous and i think it's better than all the kate spade wallets i've seen haha.it's my first ever braun buffel item,plus i don't really have expensive things before this besides my fossil bag. thank you so much again..i really can't thank you enough (: had a 2 days 1 night stay at royal on scotts.breakfast buffet was awesome! will post up pictures when i have the time. so far work has been..alright.hmmm i don't really know how to describe the exact feeling.it's one of the most tiring and toughest jobs i've done.went to whampoa food centre and cambridge with hilda,whom i'll be attached to temporarily, to do the usual inspections. it's quite an eye-opener for me looking at how they enforce warnings and such.we have to work alongside with the town council as well sometimes.pretty interesting i must say but it's quite discouraging when most of the seniors keep telling me they want to get a better job.oh well. till the next entry,goodnight (: |
